Terms of Service

This page is a drafted starting template, not yet reviewed by legal counsel. Have it reviewed before relying on it as your published terms.

These terms govern access to and use of CourtPOS by clubs, their staff, and their players. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

CourtPOS provides sports club management software, including reservations, point of sale, payments, memberships, coaching, reporting, and related features, made available according to the subscription plan a club selects.

2. Accounts

A club must provide accurate information when creating an account and is responsible for activity under its staff accounts. Clubs are responsible for the accounts and permissions they grant to their own staff.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed on the cycle selected at signup (monthly or annual). Fees for add-ons, such as per-court overage or additional locations, are billed as described on the Pricing page.

A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4. Acceptable use

The platform may not be used for unlawful purposes, to store data you don't have the right to collect, or in a way that disrupts the service for other clubs.

5. Data and content

A club retains ownership of its player and business data entered into CourtPOS. CourtPOS processes that data to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party services

Certain features rely on third-party providers — for example, payment processing. Use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider's terms.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CourtPOS's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

A club may cancel its subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, with notice where practical.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at CourtPOS's place of business, to be specified before publication.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to account owners.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our Contact page.
